Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina made her debut with humorous hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to increasing her presence in Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents in Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came via trumpet. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a time. After graduation, her focus shift to music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet before settling on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also contained songs that were viral such as body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour New York Bitche$. The single that debuted was directly connected to Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. After having a great career as a singer and songwriter, she decided to take on the character of actress. Aside from early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed major roles in a variety of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
